Micheal Boyd Alleman

January 19, 1978 — February 23, 2009

Micheal Boyd Alleman, 31, bravely returned to his Father in Heaven on Monday, February 23, 2009 from injuries sustained in combat while serving in the Army in Iraq.
Micheal was born on January 19, 1978 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Boyd and Susan Alleman. He lived in Thatcher until 1986. He graduated from Southeast Whitfield High School in Dalton, GA in 1996. He attended UGA and Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, before making his way to USU. He taught 4th grade for two years in Las Vegas before moving back to Cache Valley and teaching 5th grade at Nibley Elementary for two years. He loved spending time with the children and helping them learn the importance of an education.
Micheal met his sweetheart, Amy Williams and they were sealed for time and all eternity on May 8, 2002 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were later blessed with two beautiful sons, Kai6 and Kennet4. Amy and the boys were Micheal's whole world. Micheal enlisted in the Army in January 2008, completing Basic Training at Ft. Benning, GA. He was stationed at Ft. Wainwright, AK before being deployed to Iraq in Sept. 2008. Micheal was part of the 5/1 Stryker Brigade Combat Team.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hyrum 4th Ward Chapel, 245 Apple Drive, Hyrum. Friends may call Tuesday, March 3, at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan, from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery.
