Michael Taylor Wick, our pride and joy, son, brother, and friend, passed away with his best friend, Chris Dorius on October 21, 2006 in a tragic car accident. Taylor was born on June 21, 1989 in Logan, Utah. He lived his whole life, 17 short years, in Lewiston, Utah. He attended school at Lewiston Elementary, North Cache, and was currently a member of the graduating class at Sky View. Taylor loved sports and played soccer when he was younger and now football. He was a defensive lineman for the Sky View Bobcats Region 5 champions. Music was an important part of Taylor?s life. He loved all kinds of music. He played drums and guitar with his friend, Chris. It was the best two-man band ever! Taylor was not a formal church member, but he had very strong Christian beliefs. He was involved with the Cache Valley Christian Center and had ministered and fed the homeless in San Francisco. He always held to his beliefs and was a good influence to everyone he met. He encouraged us all to live better, be better, do better! My Son,
Taylor was a lover of all and a giver to any. He excelled in football and was a team mate of the Region Champ Sky View Football Team.
Taylor was a very outstanding drummer and enjoyed playing in a band with his friends. He gave his love freely and was full of hugs and smiles. Taylor was the son that every parent dreams of. He will be missed by so many, but his memories will never die. Not goodbye, Taylor, but we?ll see you later.
Love Always, Dad Life goes on!
Dad and I were riding home from your accident, and I tried to look around and what I saw was that life goes on. Our world stopped and the rest of the world went on living. Went down to pick out your casket today, one of the hardest things so far we had to do. We went to come home, and I looked around me, and still life goes on. Woke up this morning, heard the school bus, instantly I?m very aware you?re not leaving for school today. And as I got up and sobbed, I looked out the window and I saw that Life Goes On! Always remember bug would say ?make it a goal.? Life goes on.
