Michael Vay Morris, 43, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 after a long battle with his health. He was born April 21, 1960, in Ogden, the son of Vay E. Morris and Myrlan Tanovich. He married Sandra Blotter on April 26, 1985 and was sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. He graduated from Weber High School in 1978, where he excelled in wrestling. He enjoyed automotive repair, welding, and large appliance repair. He loved music and had a beautiful voice. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons: Joshua James Morris, 16, and Jacob Vay Morris, 13; his mother: Myrlan Tanovich, Ogden; sisters: Debra Morris, Salt Lake City; Melanie Doug Stokes, Syracuse; and brothers: Greg Dennise Morris, Clinton; and Matt LeeAnn Morris, Nibley. He was preceded in death by his father, Vay E. Morris and grandparents. Mike was a loving husband and father. He had a strong testimony and will be missed. Respecting Mike?s wishes, no funeral will be held. A family graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2004. Interment will be in the Millville Cemetery.
