Michael Max Lamb

Michael Max Lamb passed peacefully away at his home in Hyde Park on Sunday, November 27, 2005. He had a courageous battle with stomach problems that he battled for many years. He was born in Logan, Utah on October 30, 1953 to Max S. and Barbara Jody Lamb of Hyde Park. He attended school in Hyde Park, Richmond, and Smithfield. He graduated from Sky View High and the Smithfield LDS Seminary. He served an honorable mission for the LDS church in the New York Rochester Mission. He married Wendy Brinton and they had three sons. They were later divorced. He married Kristin Archibald and they had a son and daughter. They were later divorced. Mike worked for Schreiber Foods until his health got the best of him. He is survived by his children: Matthew Michael Amber Lamb of Syracuse; Scott Brinton Bobbie Lamb of Nibley; Jeffery Brinton Lamb serving a mission in Taiwan Taipei; Jason Michael Lamb of Hyde Park; and Erin Lamb of Smithfield. He has two grandchildren: Carter and Mckelle. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters: Gloria Tim Gordon of Mendon; Stephen Dawn Lamb of Woods Cross; Brenda Bruce Dana of Hyde Park; and his parents, Max and Jody Lamb of Hyde Park. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2005 in the Hyde Park Chapel on Center Street in Hyde Park with Bishop Scott Erickson of the Hyde Park Ninth Ward conducting. Friends and family may call on Wednesday evening at Nelson Funeral Home 162 East 400 North, Logan, from 7 to 8 p.m. and Thursday morning at the church from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Hyde Park Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com . A great big thanks to Dr. Redd, Dr. Nash and the Hospice group and their great staff for the loving care they showed to Michael and his family during his illness.
