Melba Vodis Haun

Portage - Melba Vodis Larson Startin Haun, 89, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2005. She was born on December 20, 1915 to Lars Gustaf and Ebba Laurenzia Johnson Larson both of Sweden in Murray, Utah. She married Spence Startin in 1936. Spence and Melba divorced in 1952. She later married Earl Curly LaMar Haun.
Melba was reared and educated in Murray, Utah. She moved to Portage, Utah in 1997. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Melba loved her family.
She is survived by her children: Pete Judy Haun of Sandy, Utah, Wayne Susan Startin of Rexburg, Idaho, Clella Ben Smith of Midvale, Utah, Ronald Spencer Joan Startin of Portage, Utah and Ronald Beverly Haun of Rexburg, Idaho; 23 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, five brothers, two sisters, one grandson and one daughter, Kaye Hunt.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at the Portage Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah.
