Mary Roselle Munns

Garland - Mary Rosella Olson Bowcut Munns, 89, passed away at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton on December 27, 2003. Rose was born on January 22, 1914 in Preston, Idaho to John Theodore and Mary Louisa Bodily Olson. She was raised in Fairview, Idaho. Rose married Earl Peter Bowcut on December 9, 1936 in the Logan Temple. She later divorced and married Frank Gene Udy Munns on October 3, 1970. She loved to go fishing, gardening and enjoyed cooking for her family. Rose served in the Relief Society and Young Women's she also served as a Sunday School Teacher and a Primary Teacher in the LDS church. Rose is survived by her children: Earlene Jon Hiner, Rodger Anna Bowcut, Suzzette Powell, and Tex Patty Bowcutt all of Preston, Idaho, Rosemary Rich Beaumar, Boise, Idaho, her step-children: Wayne Beryl Munns, Great Falls, Montana, Louis Benson, Chubback, Idaho, Lynn Sunny Munns, Casper, Wyoming, Jack Sue Munns, Riverdale, Utah, Mac Cherie Munns, Tremonton, Utah and Chad Karla Munns, Garland, Utah, 51 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 19 great, great grandchildren, and one sister, Luella Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husbands, one son Douglas O. Bowcut, one step-daughter, Dona Benson, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Family and friends may call Tuesday, December 30, 2003 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, December 31, 2003 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Franklin, Idaho Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
