Smithfield - Mary Louise Gordon Allman, 94, peacefully passed away Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Logan, Utah. She was born March 25, 1913 to William & Josie Davis Gordon in Los Angeles, California. Louise grew up in Lindsay, California on a Citrus and Olive Ranch. She graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara and taught school in Bellflower and Riverside, California for many years. She married Walter E. Allman in 1945 in Lindsay. She was proud of her membership in the AAUW and the PTA. She was devoted to the Lutheran church and enjoyed attending her meetings. Louise loved to sing and was an accomplished instrumental musician. She enjoyed traveling and attending the theater. She loved to fish and owned an ocean sports fishing boat. She is survived by a son, Gordon W. Marva Allman of Smithfield; daughter-in-law, Eloise Allman of Hewitt, Texas and 4 precious grandchildren: Trevor Aubrey Allman, Terri Dale Baker, Khrist Dee Lynn Ronald Rojas, and Bobbi Robert Griffith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, Gary A. Allman; sister, Grace Ackley; and a dear cousin, Josephine Nickleson.
