Mary Elizabeth Coe Hill, 79, passed away Sunday August 1st, 2004. She was born March 25th, 1925 in Tallahassee, Florida, to Lila Barber and William Bloxham Coe. She received her education in Leon County Florida. She married Robert Q. Hill Sr. June 12, 1942 in Crawfordville, Florida. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple.
Mother moved from Florida to Utah in 1946. She and Dad owned and operated Hilco Plumbing and Heating until their retirement. She was a member of the Smithfield Kiwanis Club, Ladies Club and also devoted her time to many Charitable Organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Q. Hill Sr. and Sister Melvyne Bassett. She is survived by her sister Billie Young, St. Petersburg FL, sons Robert Q. Hill Jr. Smithfield, Jim Hill North Logan, daughters, Mina Hill Hyde Park, Dee Ogden Castle Pines CO., Pamela Merrill St. George, Cyd Conner Salt Lake City. She has 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. To all those who knew her she always spoke the truth with a gift of personal uniqueness. She will forever be missed. The family would like to thank Don and Mary Alice Williams, her longtime neighbors, for their continuous care and support. A special thank you, to Florence Hinck her longtime friend for her care and love of our Mother, and to Rocky Mountain Hospice. She will be laid to rest in the Smithfield City Cemetery beside our Dad, August 4, 2004. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan.
