Mary Edna Roskelley Ward Williams

Ogden: Mary Edna Roskelley Ward Williams, 98, died March 29, 2003 in Ogden, Utah. She was born July 2, 1904, in Smithfield, Utah, the daughter of James and Frances Annie Emery Roskelley. She was a graduate of Box Elder High School in Brigham City. She married Parker J. Ward on November 4, 1926, in Smithfield. After their marriage they lived in Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple, July 6, 1935. He died April 19, 1944. She married Thomas P. Williams on October 1, 1948, in Ogden, Utah. He died July 30, 1973. Edna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she had served in the Primary and Relief Society. She had served in the Ogden LDS Temple. She is survived by her two children, Eileen W. Kapp, Kaysville, and Parker L. Clara Ward, both of St. George; 15 grandchildren, 38 grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Irene W. Flowers, four brothers, and nine sisters. On Wednesday April 2, there will be a viewing at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., starting at 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Interment will be held at 1:00 PM in the Ogden City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Edna?s name to the Primary Children?s Hospital.
