Mary Ann Buehler Fridal

Tremonton, UT ? Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mae Fridal, 93, passed away peacefully at her home August 27, 2007.
She was born May 19, 1914 in Logan, UT the 5th child of Henry L. and Mary Ann Maughan Buehler. Mae was reared and educated in Daniels and Malad, ID. After graduating from Malad High School, she attended Utah State University. She married her eternal sweetheart, Knud H. Fridal, III February 7, 1939 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with two sons: Knud Hansen Fridal, IV and Sidney Buehler Fridal. She loved to serve others and her Heavenly Father. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and it showed in her many church callings. Mae served faithfully as a primary, sunday school and genealogy teacher. Also as a ward and stake YWMIA President.
Mae and her husband, K. H., served as full time missionaries in the Massachusetts Boston Mission. Her motto was ?Once a missionary, always a missionary.? After which, they served together as officiators in the Logan LDS Temple for approximately seven years. Mae was a former member of the Tremonton Civic Club and Tremonton-Garland Literary Club; she was also active in PTA. Mae?s family was very important to her. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and their accomplishments. She never missed being involved in their lives. She showed such unconditional love to them. She is survived by her son, Knud Connie Fridal, Vera Lynne Fridal, wife of Sidney Fridal, one brother, Vernon Buehler, two sisters: Geneva Larsen and Carma Sanders, two sisters-in-law: Ida Fridal and Fae Francis, ten grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Sid, three sisters: Ines, Lucille, Zella and one brother, Lamar.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Tremonton 2nd and 5th Ward LDS Chapel, 300 South Tremont Street, Tremonton. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral. Interment at Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
A special thank you to all neighbors and friends that touched her life, her visiting teachers, home teachers and members of the Tremonton 2nd Ward.
