Thatcher-Mary Darlene Daley Abel, 78, passed away November 10, 2011 at her home in Thatcher, UT. She was born February 6, 1933 in Tremonton, UT to Kenneth LaVier and Mary Zelda Cooke Daley. She married Roy Abel June 25, 1948 in Brigham City, UT and their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple June 10, 1988.
She loved to Crochet, Quilt and was a member of the Bear River Squares dance group where she and Roy traveled around the country together to dance. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Relief Society and was a Visiting Teacher.
She is survived by her Husband, Children: Jeanene Miralles, Patricia Brown Von, Steven Abel Tonya; 23 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; Brother LaVier Daley Riona; Sisters: Delma Poulsen Jay, Leah Martinson Darrel and Kenna Higley Everett. She was preceded in death by her Parents, son, Randy Roy Abel; grandchildren: Shawn Roy Brown, Richard LaVier Hales and Jonathan Abel; great grandson, Tyson Douglas Pearce and great-great grandson, Alexyander James Nelson and Son-in-law, Juan Miralles.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 11:00 a.m. at the Thatcher-Penrose LDS Chapel, 11475 West 10400 North, Thatcher, UT. Friends may call Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, and at the Church Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Garland City Cemetery.
