Martin Donald Lee

October 20, 1959 — October 30, 2022

Our daddy, Martin Donald Lee, left this world suddenly, on October 30, 2022 at the age of 63. He was surrounded by his family and he will be deeply missed. Martin was born in Logan, Utah and raised in Hyde Park. He graduated from Sky View High in 1978. He served a mission in New York City. When he returned from his mission, he met and married Sandra Hymas. They married January 19, 1985.

Martin was a man of commitment and dedication. He showed this to his family through the various jobs he held while the kids grew up. Many of us remember him as the “Maverick Man” because for 10 plus years you would find him working the counter at the corner Maverick. Others knew him as Marty because you worked with him at the church, Lowers, R&R Donnelly or you grew up with him and his brothers. He showed this to his family, through coaching many of us in soccer for years, or many dance competitions or football games that we found him on the sidelines. Dad taught us the value of hard work, integrity, and going after what we wanted.

Marty also has a steadfast faith in Christ and his love. He finds the good in people and very rarely spoke poorly of others. He always tried to include everyone and say hello to everyone. Marty always tried to share his testimony of the Savior, however, often time found it hard to find words.

Dad, we always knew you loved us. Know that we will continue laughing and joking with each other. We will continue to try to be like you, and being kind.

Martin was preceded in death by his parents Don and Welma Lee; his grandparents Preston and Mae Lee. He was survived in this life by his wife Sandra and 5 children Amanda (Klamath Falls, Oregon) , Andrea (Logan, Utah), Alex (Logan Utah), Adam(Caitlin; Logansville, Georgia), and Amy(Travis, Logan Utah). He has three beautiful granddaughters Savannah, Noah, and Remi. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Linda(Chris) Crosby, Roger(Denise) Lee, John(Melinda) Lee, Jan(Tracey) Krawiec, and Bill(Korina) Lee; along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews.
