Marlyn Seamons Pace

Marlyn Seamons Pace, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the Ogden Regional Hospital after being life flighted there earlier.
Marlyn was the daughter of Howard Lorin and Edith Westerberg Seamons. She was born September 9, 1937 in Mink Creek, Idaho. She lived in Mink Creek and Preston, Idaho until her parents moved to Hyde Park, Utah in 1941.
Marlyn enjoyed school and attended grade school in Hyde Park. She graduated from North Cache High School
Marlyn was preceded in death by her late husband, Ronald Lewis Pace, her parents, in-laws and one grandchildren, Amanda Taylor. She is survived by one sister, Dorothy S. Butterfield, two daughters and on e son, Teresa Taylor, Logan, Utah; Allison Roby-Hill, Providence, Utah; and Rand Pace; Cache Junction, Utah. 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren blessed her life and she loved them all. They will miss their grandmother.
Marlyn's husband Ron, worked for the Railroad, so the resided in several places. They enjoyed where ever they lived. Ron was a builder, so he spent his spare time building homes for the family. Ron would do the building and Marlyn did most of the decorating and enjoyed making her home a pleasant place to live. Marlyn had many friends and enjoyed walking and other activities with them. She worked for Herff Jones for many years and retired from there. She spent her retirement volunteering for "Somebody's Attic" and the Ellen Eccles Theater, assisting people and enjoyed helping people in need.
Even though many trials came into Marlyn's life, she was able to rise above them all and make something good be the result. She loved her family and her friends and was always willing to go the extra mile to see that all was well.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 12 Noon, with a viewing from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to services at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 162 East 400 North, Logan, Utah. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com
