Marla Jean Busby

OGDEN - Marle Jean Jeanie Busby, 54, of Ogden, Utah, was called home to her Father in Heaven Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, just two days before her 55th birthday. She was born Aug. 22, 1953, in Camp Roberts, Calif., the daughter of William Lyle and Shirley Jean Johnstun Busby, the eldest of eight children. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated from LDS Seminary and Davis High School in 1971. She enjoyed reading, going for rides up the canyon for picnics, attending the temple and doing word search puzzles. She was an active member of her branch at Aspen Care Center and loved her calling as greeter. She loved to smile and wave at everyone. She loved going to her special needs mutual activities and developed warm relationships with the many branch leaders who cared for her. Along with her parents she is survived by seven siblings: Susan Larry Roberts, Tremonton; Steven Jolene Busby, Tremonton; Kelly Terry Busby, Eager, Ariz; Kathleen Dennis Roe, Stone, Idaho; Pam Ron Johnson, Garland; Sharon Jeff Hess, Plymouth; and Jared Busby, East Garland. Funeral services were held at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home with President Don Mueller branch president conducting. Interment will be
in the Brigham City Cemetery.
