Mark Jonathon Wood

Mark Jonathan Wood Garland: Mark Jonathan Wood, 91, passed away September 15, 2002, at the Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, Utah. He was born April 28, 1911, in Garland, Utah, the son of Willard LeGrande and Electra R. Hall Wood. He married Eula Rhodes on October 26, 1934, in Ogden. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on February 21, 1936. He had lived in Salt Lake City, Holbrook, Idaho and Garland where he farmed and operated the Wood Apple Orchard for over forty years. He served as a volunteer on the Garland Fire Department for many years. He was a member of the Garland First Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in various callings. He is survived by his wife, Eula of Garland, his children, Bob Marilyn Wood, Gladstone, OR; Arlene Bill Bingham, Deweyville, UT; DeeAnn Dallas Nessen, Kaysville, UT; 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother, Dean Evelyn Wood, Farmington, UT; a sister, Erla Ken Reed, Clearfield, UT and Joe Begozee of Garland. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and daughter-in-law Jay Dee and Lena Ann Wood; one great grandson; brothers, LeGrand and Darrell; a sister, Merle. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2002, 10:59 a.m. at the Garland LDS Tabernacle, 140 West Factory. Friends may call Wednesday, September 18th from 5:59 to 8:01 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Thursday, September 19th from 9:29 to 10:39 at the Tabernacle.
