Marjorie Couch Wilson

January 8, 1926 — March 15, 2009

Marjorie Couch Wilson, our beautiful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away in her home on Sunday, March 15, 2009, after a courageous battle with emphysema. She is now together again with her beloved husband. Marge was born January 8, 1926 in Franklin, Idaho to John and Loenza Couch. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Logan, Utah where she has lived most of her life. Her life was truly Christ-like, never wanting for herself, but always thinking of others. She married Dee H. Wilson on December 14, 1945. She was truly devoted to her husband, always by his side. They had four children, one passing away at birth. They spent many years hunting and fishing with their dear friends. Dee passed away in the fall of 2003. Her passion was cleaning, making sure her house and surroundings were always spotless. Marge spent the last few years of her life learning that she could accomplish amazing things. One of her proudest accomplishments was reading the Book of Mormon and going to the temple and being sealed to her eternal companion. She amazed everyone by her remarkable memory of dates, names and the power to endure so much. She was always in the service of others. She was a member of the Logan 2nd ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Scott, parents, and brothers Jack and Robert. She is survived by her children: Dee, Logan; Earl, Medford, Oregon; and Bonnie Brent Hislop, South Weber, Utah. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the incredible compassionate service that Love Hospice gave her. They truly did give her all the Love they could, especially Trinna Hillyard and Christine Ely. We also want to thank her many friends and ward members for all their help and concern, especially Pat, and for the extra care given by her eldest son, Dee Jr. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 20, 2009 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery following the service. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
