Marjorie North Trease

Brigham City - Marjorie P. North Trease, 81, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at the Brigham City Nursing Center.
She was born June 24, 1924 to Joseph and Hazel Pulsipher North in Brigham City. She married James H. Trease September 8, 1942 in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on February 24, 1990.
Marjorie graduated from Box Elder High School in 1941. She was a waitress for 40 years at the Ringside and Pheasant Cafes in Brigham City and the Cross X in Tremonton. She loved to square dance and belonged to the V.F.W.
She is survived by one daughter, Margie Lynn Povlov, and one grandson, Konstantine Povlov both of Colorado; one brother Rex North, Ogden; four sisters, Ruby Clawson, Syracuse, Helen Behnke, Great Falls, Montana, Wonda Bodily, Layton, JoAnn Bagshaw, Salt Lake City; two brothers-in-law, John Trease, Hooper and Floyd Trease, Buhl, Idaho, four sisters-in-law, Larene North, Brigham City, Norma North, Willard, Renea North, Grantsville and Grace Price, Payson.
She is preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Robert, Donald, and Clifford North and one sister Nadine Conger.
Marjorie was a loving and caring person and loved and tended many nieces, nephews and neighborhood children throughout her years. She opened her home to special nephews Kent and Harry Trease that spent a number of years living with Marge and Jim. She was called "Grandma" by all. She will be missed and was loved by all she came in contact with.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tremonton South Stake Center located at 1150 South Tremont Street. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and also on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral at the church.
Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
