Marjorie Aurelle Jensen Scott, 79, passed away on August 28, 2003
in Logan, Utah. She was born the third daughter of Arthur M. Jensen and Dora Albers Jensen on June 30, 1924. After the death of her mother, Marjorie lived in Denver, Colorado with her grandparents and sisters. Later she lived with her father in Hailey, Idaho where she graduated from high school. She also attended Henager's Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marjorie married her high school sweetheart, Keith Scott, on July 29, 1944
in Hailey, Idaho. They were later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. Marjorie and Keith moved to California during the war and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area until 1997 when they moved to Smithfield, Utah. Marjorie worked as the office manager for McClellan Construction Co. in
Hayward, California for many years. She was a member of the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed serving in the church in many positions including the Primary presidency, Young Women's presidency,
Stake Relief Society presidency and Sunday School. Marjorie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was adored by all who knew her. She was
dedicated to the welfare and care of her family. Her loving spirit and great
sense of humor will be greatly missed. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Dorothy
Briggs and Larie Deering. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Keith
Scott, brother Art Jensen, son Dennis Scott, daughters Linda Bacher and
Susan Benton and many special grandchildren and darling great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Marjorie will be held Wednesday, September 3rd, 2003
at 2:00 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home 162 E. 400 N. in Logan, Utah. Friends and family may call beginning at 12:30 p.m. prior to the services.
