Marjorie Hughes Hess Pruett Clearfield/Garland ? Marjorie Hughes Hess Pruett, 78, of Clearfield, died Sunday July 28, 2002 at the Davis Hospital in Layton. She was born on September 22, 1923 in Tremonton, Utah, the daughter of Owen C. and Isabella Hughes Hess. She married Cloyd M. Pruett on January 9, 1947 in Ogden, Utah. They later divorced. Marjorie was reared and educated in Fielding, and graduated from Bear River High School. She loved gardening. She is survived by three sons ? Murl Pruett of AZ, Dale Deanna Pruett of Clinton, UT, and Tim Debby Pruett of Clearfield, UT, one daughter - Edna Grigsby of Clearfield; one brother ? Owen Hess of Tremonton, UT; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, one brother and one daughter ? Betty Blecha. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at the Fielding Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday just prior to services from 9:30 ? 10:30 a.m. at Rogers & Taylor, 111 North 100 East ? Tremonton.
