Marie Bailey Rogers

Marie Bailey Rogers, age 92, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 12, 1912 at the home of her Romanian parents, George and Louisa Bailey in Alliance, Ohio, the birthplace of her seven siblings, George, Jean Helen, Ann, Ted, Joe, John, and Tom. She attended Alliance schools and moved to Evanston, Wyoming at about age 40 to live with her sister and family. She met and married Lorrin Rogers and they moved to Tremonton, where they resided until Lorrin?s death over four years ago. Marie then went to her new home at Logan Nursing, where she has received the most awesome, loving, devoted care from Eileen and her angel staff, who became her other family. She had the best possible care there, which could possibly be rendered. They loved her and she loved them. Her family is grateful. Marie is survived by her twin brothers, John Nina of Nevada and Joe Anne Bailey of Ohio, and eleven nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at Logan City Cemetery by Bill Frost, a nephew, Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home.
