Marie Rindlisbacher Gereaux

Salt Lake City ? Marie Rindlisbacher Gereaux, 63, former Cache Valley resident, passed away November 2, 2002 at home in Salt Lake City. She was born April 20, 1939 in Logan to Sy and Ann Rindlisbacher of Amalga, Utah. She attended and graduated from the local Cache Valley schools. She married Warren J. Gereaux on June 18, 1958 in Amalga. Together they lived in Idaho, California and Oklahoma, before returning to Utah in 1973. Marie was a member of the LDS church and held numerous positions throughout the years, including nursery leader and relief society teacher. She loved doing any job that was handed to her and because of her zest and zeal, was a great member missionary. She enjoyed working with the girl and boy scout programs in Cache Valley for many years. Marie is survived by her six children: Julia Gereaux, Salt Lake City; Denice Dory Newbold, Sanford, Florida; Teresa Hankinson, Salt Lake City; Margot Mark Gittins, Warrenton, Oregon; Zeph Will Mikesell, Logan; William Gereaux, Salt Lake City; and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Shirley James Hammond, Ogden and three brothers: Jack Barbara Rindlisbacher, Deweyville; Harry Julene Rindlisbacher, Amalga; and Ray Eloise Rindlisbacher, Preston, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents and her huband. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 8, 2002 at the Logan City Cemetery.
