Margaret L. DelBarto Tepedino passed from us on Nov. 27, three days after her 98th birthday. She was born in New York and spent her early years in Orange, TX, where the family went to ?seek its fortune?. After the sudden death of her father and brother within a few months of each other in 1920, Margaret returned to New York with mother and sisters where she remained through marriage to Vincent E. Tepedino and parenthood until 1991. She then moved to Utah to be with her only living child and his family. Those that survive her, son Vincent J. Tepedino and his spouse Felicia, two grandchildren Daria Pori and husband Anthony of Boise, Laura Hampton and husband Mike of Mendon, and two great grandchildren James and Grace Hampton, will miss her greatly. Her quick smile and sense of humor, her unswerving loyalty towards her family, and above all, her unwavering fairness, respect and tolerance towards others imbued her with a rare humility and rectitude. Though poorly educated formally, she taught us more things of value through simple example and gentle chiding, than could any series of sermons or lectures. A mass has been scheduled for Monday, November 29, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas church in Logan.
