Margaret LuLu Miller Smith

Tremonton, UT ? Margaret Lulu Miller Smith, 96, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, of natural causes. She was born August 28, 1910, in Salt Lake City, UT, the daughter of George Washington Miller and Abba Lydia Fullmer. She married George Elias Smith June 21, 1933, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived the first few years of their marriage in Garrison, UT, and later moved to the family farm in Evans south Tremonton where they raised their six children. George died November 1, 1977.
She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, where she served in all the auxiliaries. She worked in the extraction program for over 20 years and served as a visiting teacher for over 60 years.
Surviving are her sons: Jae Lynn, Springfield, VA, Earland M. Pauline, Tremonton, UT; daughters: Barbara Gene Abbott, Spanish Fork, UT, Alexis Abba Tanner, Farmington, UT, and Bonnie Rae Johnson Johnny, Havasu City, AZ; daughter-in-law, Carol Smith, Clovis, CA; brother, Marvin Jewell Miller, Sandy, UT; sister, Genevieve Anna Richardson, Garrison, UT; 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Trueman; five brothers; one sister, and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton with Bishop Wallace Larsen officiating. Friends may call Friday, June 22, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. -12:40 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at the Bear River City Cemetery.
The family wishes to express thanks to all of Margaret?s many caregivers, including: Tonya, Maureen, Verlynn, IHC Hospice and the staff of the Bear River Valley Care Center.
