Tremonton, Utah ? Lydia Andrea Romer Hill, 98, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the Bear River Valley Care Center. She was born November 14, 1908 in Brigham City, Utah to Andrew C. and Margaret A. Petersen Romer. She married Seymour William Hill February 29, 1928 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died December 9, 1994. She worked for Box Elder School Lunch Program at Bear River High School. She also worked at Brigham Sports Apparel as a trainer and supervisor for 19 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Relief Society and YWMIA and was a visiting teacher for many years. Surviving are her children: Roma Jean John A Bourne, Garland, UT; Lola Dean Keith H. Coombs, Fielding, UT; S. Blaine Charlene Hill, Bonanza, OR; Beverly Odean J Estep, Plymouth, UT; Bernard LaPrele Hill, Tremonton, UT; 28 grandchildren, 83 great grandchildren and 46 great, great grandchildren. Lydia is preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, Shanna; two sisters: Ardella Creager and Verna Daley; two brothers: Dwain and Merlin Romer; two sets of sibling twins; one grandchild, two great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Tremonton Second Ward Chapel, 300 South Tremont St., Tremonton, with Bishop Sam McMurdie officiating. Family and friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2006 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and from 9:15-10:40 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment at Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff of Bear River Valley Care Center for their loving, tender care.
