Lucille Cannon Waldron

July 28, 1918 — August 17, 2005

Bountiful - Lucille Cannon Waldron, 87, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2005. She was born July 28, 1918 to Lewis Ray and Jennie Luemma Laub Cannon in Stone, Idaho. She was raised in Fielding, Utah and graduated from Bear River High School and LDS Business College. Lucille was active in the Tremonton Civic Club where she was the recipient of the Woman of the Year Award. She loved to play golf and bridge. She sewed quilts and many other fun things for her grandchildren.
She was an active member of the Church Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many positions including Primary, Young Women, Relief Society President and Den Mother. She served a mission in Coventry England and most recently served as an officiator in the St. George Temple.
She is survived by her children: Barbara Sam Howard, St. George, UT; Gae Dysli, St. George, UT; Kirk Carol Waldron, Provo, UT; Jane Mark Baer, Littleton, CO; Kelly Evelyn Waldron, Kaysville, UT. Also surviving are her siblings: Leah Harold Holley, Provo, UT; Owen Jill Cannon, Tremonton, UT; Hortense Charles Pink, Tustian, CA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, ten brothers and sisters, her husbands: Owen Keller, Russell Waldron, Wayne Sandall and a son, Neal Waldron.
Services will be held Monday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tremonton Stake Center, 660 North 300 East, Tremonton, UT with Bishop Michael Bowcutt conducting. Family and friends may call Sunday, August 21 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and also Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
