Our dear beloved Mother, Lucille Irene Simmons Wood, passed away April 25, 2006 at the age of 96. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was an example to all of us in the way she cared for her home and family. She made us all feel loved and important when with her. She served many years in the primary organization, Ogden Temple and as a Stake Missionary for the LDS church. She was an active member of the Eagles Auxiliary in her earlier years. She was married to William Drew Wood in the Salt Lake Temple, where they lived most of their lives in the Ogden area. She was preceded in death by her husband, her sister, Peggy Johnson, and two grandchildren, Deborah Toyn and Adeline Satterthwaite. We love you mom, and are happy you and Dad are together again. There are seven children: Joy Robert Toyn, Brigham City, Utah; Virginia Noel Archibald, Sandy, Utah; Charlene Wesley Wade, Orem, Utah; Drew Daniel Menkhaus, Idaho Falls, Idaho; William Dee Twila Leishman Wood, Smithfield, Utah; Lorraine Joel Hoyt, and Maureen Lynn Peterson, Eden, Utah.
