LOGAN ? Lucetta Ravsten Sparks Anderson, 93 of Logan, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2002 at Logan Regional Hospital. She was born April 21, 1908 in Clarkston, Utah a daughter of Bennie and Clara Emelia Christensen Ravsten. She married Herbert Hans Sparks on November 24, 1926 in Logan. He passed away April 5, 1966. She married Mariner Luke Anderson on September 13, 1969 in West Valley City. He passed away on August 24, 1990. Lucetta received her education in Cache County and has lived in Clarkston and Logan. She served on the committees for the Cache County Fair and started the first 4-H club in Clarkston for girls. She was a member of the LDS church and has served in all auxiliary organizations. She is survived by her children: Peggy Dean & Sterling Godfrey of Henderson, Nevada; Ted Lee and Janice Sparks of Smithfield and Rebecca Virginia of New Port Richey, Florida. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; one brother, Lee Ravsten of Bountiful and one sister, Hazel Godfrey of Pocatello, Idaho. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at 12 noon in the Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan, with J. Lionel Allsop conducting. Friends may call Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clarkston Cemetery.
