Loraine June Reese-Gibbs

Our dearest beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Loraine ?Rainey? June Reese-Gibbs, 51, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 25, 2006 due to injuries sustained in a vehicle . She was born June 29, 1954 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Albert Ray Reese and June Boyce, the youngest of five children. She was raised in Brigham City, Utah attending the local schools and graduated in Hyannis, Nebraska. She attended Utah State University. She worked at Thiokol and was currently working at the Harold B. Lee Elementary School in Dayton, Idaho. She has enjoyed life in many places, including: Brigham City, Utah; Nebraska; Hyrum, Utah and Weston, Idaho, making friends where ever she went. She married Randy Wright Gibbs on March 20, 1993 and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Loraine enjoyed being involved in chariot and horse racing with her father, mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed participating in many parades, displaying their western and Indian attire. She worked on the Cache County Rodeo Committee for several years. She loved all animals and especially loved nimals. She had many special animal friends including Dodie, Bud, and Misty. She also enjoyed ceramics, painting, yard work and flowers. She was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had served in many callings, including Relief Society, Primary teacher and librarian. Her favorite calling was serving in the nursery, she loved children. She was a friend to everyone, accepting and helping anyone in need and extending forgiveness unconditionally. Her first priority and love was her family, always ready and willing to help when needed. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. She is survived by her husband, Randy; children: Earl Ray Teri Fronk, Orem; Bill Trisha Fronk, Brigham City; Mica Corey Welch, North Salt Lake; LaDawna Ryan Bindrup, Logan; Bert Danielle Daniels, Logan and 24 beautiful grandchildren. Other special ?daughters?: Tiffany Lo, Logan; Nika Kaveluk, Germany; and Alma Freytes, Venezuela. She is also survived by her mother, June Reed Humpherys; siblings: LeRay Patsy Reese; Leona Lauren Robertson; Larry Mona Reese; Louise Richard Nielsen. She was preceded in by her father, Albert Ray Reese; and her grandparents, Albert John and Mary Beatrice Reese. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the Weston 1st Ward Chapel, 27 North Center, Weston, Idaho. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan and Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m at the church prior to services.
