Lora Bell Astle

Garland - Lora Bell Anderson Astle, 95, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2004. She was born December 26, 1907 in Garland, Utah the daughter of Cephus Elmer and Cora Bell Tingey Anderson.
She married Theodore Enos Astle, November 24, 1937 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died September 16, 1990.
She attended Bear River High School and graduated from Bear River LDS Seminary with the first class.
She was an active member of the LDS Church. She taught Sunday School and Primary. She was Sunday School secretary, ward librarian, Relief Society visiting teacher and enjoyed doing temple work for many years.
Surviving are two sons; David L. Astle and Theodore Carlos Sandy Astle both of Garland and one sister, Edith Meier of San Jose, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Elmer Anderson two sisters, Thora Marie Anderson and Olive Hume, and one grandchild, Gerald Astle.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 12:00 noon. Family and friends may call from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.
Interment will be at the Garland Cemetery.
