Smithfield ? Lois Fulkerson Moosman, 92, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2002 at her home in Smithfield. She was born in Trenton, Utah on December 7, 1909 to Lafayette Armstrong and Mary Ann Delaney Fulkerson. Lois was reared and educated in Smithfield and graduated from North Cache High School in Richmond. She married Ira LaGrande Moosman on May 31, 1932 in Logan, Utah. During World War II, they lived in Washington Terrace. They later moved to Smithfield where they spent the next 66 years together. Lois worked for the Sunshine Terrace Foundation for 12 years, as well as being a devoted homemaker. She was the proud mother of 4 children: James W. Moosman deceased; Karen Gordon Sanders, Richmond; June Kim McCammon, Smithfield; Wendell Debbie Moosman, Hyrum and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Moosman, Cedar City. She has 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Mary Pitcher, Smithfield; Bonnie Parson, Logan; and Jenness Hurren, Hyde Park. She leaves behind a very special friend and caregiver: Florinda Alvares. Her husband, one son, one grandson, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2002 at the Smithfield City Cemetery. The service is under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home.
