Lois Thompson Clark

January 12, 1932 — April 2, 2008

Lois T. Queenie Clark, 76, of River Heights, passed away April 2, 2008 from complications of a stroke. She was born on January 12, 1932 to LaMar J. and Adele Thompson in Logan, Utah. She married Jack H. Clark October 5, 1949. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on June 26, 1964. They were married for fifty-five years. Together they raised their family of five children: Bruce Jack Peggy Clark, Deceased, Idaho Falls, ID; Sharri Dave Dutson, Kearns, UT; Lorri Scott Christensen, Richmond, UT; Kelly Clark, Deceased; Gayle Darrell Duncan, Mantua, UT; and Ron Mary Clark, Silverdale, WA. Lois loved to spend time with family and friends at Bear Lake. She loved to read and loved her dogs. She also enjoyed shopping with friends and family. She taught us never to wait to say "I Love You". Over the years she worked at Grand Central, Wurlitzer, Bourns, and Borders, where she made many life long friends. She was blessed to have many wonderful neighbors. Lois is survived by three children and two daughters-in-law, Gayle and Peggy, 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sisters: Larry Darlene Thompson; currently serving a mission in the Philippines; Fay LaMar Dennis Hughes; and Becky Brett Padgett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; two sons: Bruce and Kelly; brother: Gordon Thompson; a sister: Sally Jerry Albretson; and one granddaughter: Amy Clark. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the River Heights 2nd Ward Chapel, 800 South 600 East. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan and Saturday morning at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Providence City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com . The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of The Residence of Care Source Center Hospice of Salt Lake City for their loving care extended to Lois.
