Lloyd George Morey

Yost, Utah: Lloyd George Morey, 79, passed away at his home of 32 years, on Friday, April 13, 2007. He was born June 10, 1927 in Mitchell, South Dakota to George Howard and Varena Madalyn Severe Morey. He was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in 1948. He had a Masters degree in education, a bachelor in Psychology, and a bachelor in police science, from Utah colleges. He served his country in World War II as a PFC in the Marine Corp. He spent years in law enforcement and real estate. He was a Boy Scout leader, and spent 40 plus years collecting family history. He married Donna May Meyers in 1952, and later divorced. Married Patricia Amanda Hatton, ?Buddy?, on October 4, 1966, which was later solemnized on April 23, 1968 in the Logan Temple. He is survived by 14 children, George Reasa Palestine, Texas, Gale Debora Tucson, Arizona, Varena Sam Terrero, Bountiful, Utah, Susan, Salt Lake City, Utah, Bill Lisa, Salt Lake City, Utah, Dale Jeanette, Salt Lake City, Utah, Emily Greg VanDyke, Salt Lake City, Utah, John Bonnie, Hong Kong, Don Corby, Portland, Oregon, Bryan Lori, Portland, Oregon, Cheryl Rafeal Vasquez, Rupert, Idaho, Annette Hathaway, Portland, Oregon, Roger Tammy, Ogden, Utah, Tracy Namoi, Burley, Idaho. Also surviving are 57 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters, and two grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 16, at the Yost cemetery, at 12:00 noon
