Lloyd Oscar Green, 80, passed away at home on Monday evening, September 22, 2003. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2003 in Tremonton, Utah. Location is; First and Fairview Ward building at 3:00 pm, with graveside services to follow at Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. Lloyd was born May 2, 1923, in Kuna, Idaho to Thomas and Elizabeth Green. He grew up in the Kuna/Meridian area on the family ranch. He loved the outdoors and spent much of his youth herding cattle and taking care of the other farm animals. He looked forward to each spring as he enjoyed gardening and working with the soil. He married Sarah Wheeler Lewis on November 5, 1944. They lived in Boise and together raised five boys. They were preparing to celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary this year. He owned and operated a crane and excavation business. He loved his work and gained great satisfaction from his accomplishments and in seeing the structures he helped to build come to completion. Lloyd was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in many capacities after his conversion to the gospel. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and thoroughly enjoyed having his family around him. He was an enthusiastic fan of his family's activities in scouting, sports and music and attended as many events as possible. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Sarah; his five sons Gary Margaret, Larry Donna, Allen Maryann, Bryan Holly and Doug Shawn; 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Violet and brother, Howard.
