Linda Dee Wilcox was welcomed home to Our Heavenly Father?s presence on Wednesday, October 18, 2006. She passed away while visiting her daughter?s family in Colorado. Linda was born August 23, 1950 in Huntington, Indiana to Albert Leo and Betty Leu Roberson. She had two older brothers and one younger sister. Upon graduating from high school, she moved to Utah and began working. On July 22, 1977 she was married to Richard H. Wilcox and they had three children together, Natalie, Stacie and Bret.
Linda worked with the elderly for most of her life and had a great love for them. During her years of service she worked as an employee for Sunshine Terrace and later as a supervisor of the assisted living wing of Williamsburg Retirement Inn. Eventually she began working directly for the residents until she left the profession. Her final years were spent caring part time for children in her ward and most recently her two year old granddaughter. Linda loved her family and her happiest moments were spending time with them. She would always try to find ways to make family gatherings memorable.
Linda was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and served in many capacities of the church, including the Relief Society Presidency, which was her current calling. She radiated the light of Christ and always had a smile on her face.
Linda?s family was her world. She has left behind her husband Richard, her mother, Betty, and her children, Natalie and Bret Wilcox of Logan; Stacie Kelly Jorgensen of Greely, Colorado. She had one grandchild, Emerie Jorgensen. Also left behind are her siblings, William, James, and Deborah Roberson, all of Indiana. Linda was preceded in death by her father Albert Roberson.
