Linda Nielsen Raschke, 59, passed away at her home in Smithfield on Saturday, August 12, 2006 due to natural causes. Linda was born December 4th, 1946 to Dean Nielsen and Jacqualeen Peterson in Logan, UT. Linda was raised in Cache Valley and attended local schools in Smithfield and graduated from North Cache. Linda was talented at many things and could turn a pile of sticks into a masterpiece. She loved and excelled at all arts and crafts. She loved gardening and enjoyed the beauty around. Linda was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many different callings. She will be greatly missed by her family. Linda is survived by her three children: Jeannie Brain Nageli, Bountiful, UT; Randall Raschke, Sandpoint, ID; Rebecca Keith Lamb, Logan, UT. She is also survived by six brothers, Jeff Lesa Peterson, Steve Chris Nielsen, Stewart Teresa Nielsen, Sid Nielsen, Shawn Maryann Nielsen, Seth Jeanine Nielsen and three sisters, Carolyn Nelson, Sherry Daron Mangum, and Sandra Kent Fabricius. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shanette Nielsen. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Smithfield 1st & 2nd Ward Chapel, 175 South 100 West, Smithfield. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield and on Wednesday from 11:30 ? 12:30 p.m. at the church.
