Linda Smith Brown

Linda Smith Brown, age 66, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Logan Regional Hospital. She was born on September 21, 1945 in Logan, Utah, to Harry and Kathryn Smith. She was raised in Smithfield, Utah. Linda was one of five children. She graduated from Sky View High School. Upon graduation, Linda attended Catholic Nursing School where she received her degree in Nursing. Linda married Terry Russell Brown and they had one daughter, Andrea Lynn Brown Curry. Linda's passion was caring for others; she was a very kind and compassionate nurse. Her career offered her many opportunities to travel. A few of her favorite places were the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, summer camps in the Grand Canyon, and working on the Indian Reservation in Keams Canyon, Arizona. Later in her career she enjoyed home health care. Linda enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. She especially enjoyed her vacations with her daughter and grandsons on the Washington and Oregon Coasts. Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Russell Brown, and parents Harry and Kathryn Smith. She is survived by a daughter Andrea Curry and two grandchildren, Anthony and Zachry, as well as two brothers, Duane and Reid, and two sisters, Sheri and Kaye. Services will be held at the Nelson Funeral Home in Smithfield, Utah on Friday, January 27th, at 4:00 pm.
