Lillian Martha Hatch Fowers devoted mother, wife, and friend was born June 2, 1936 in Torrington, Wyoming. She was the fifth of ten children of Martha and Walter Hatch. Lillian was raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota and graduated from Hot Springs High School. She married her missionary sweetheart, Kenneth Carl Fowers of Plain City Utah, in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple September 16, 1955. She earned her PHT in 1959 from USU when Kenneth graduated from USU. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, family history, ceramics, camping and spent many years as a BSA leader loving every minute of it. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth; her seven children Stephanie, Allise, Greg, Gary, Tami, Michelle, Mark; 26 grandchildren and 13 7/8 great grandchildren; and her three siblings Phyllis, Lola, and Benny. She will be most remembered for her companionship and love of her husband, children and grandchildren and all her family. She lived life joyfully and shared that joy with everyone around her.
The family will hold a private service. There will be no public viewings or services.
