LeGrand Elliott Morris

Park Valley - LeGrand Elliott Morris, 88, passed away Friday, October 14, 2005. He was born November 3, 1916 to Eli Ray and Tina Matilda Kunzler Morris. He married Dorothy Kersten October 30, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He lived in and loved Park Valley all of his life and graduated from Box Elder High School. LeGrand was a member of the Park Valley Ward and served a mission in the North Central States Mission. He and Dorothy served in the Orlando, Florida Temple Mission. He served as a ward clerk, seventy, high priest group leader and a member of the bishopric.
Surviving are his wife; nine children: Diane Jared Anderson, Woods Cross, UT, L. Elliott Loretta Morris, Fontana, CA, Naomi Dennis, deceased Short, Big Water, UT, Donna Eric Arnesen, West Valley, UT, Rodney Deborah Morris, Heidleberg, Germany, Lynette Michael Whalen, Winnemucca, NV, Syliva Steve Garn, Burley, ID, David Jean Morris, Park Valley, UT, Scott Marlene Morris, Rupert, ID; a sister, Seletta Willard, deceased Pitcher, Washington, UT; a brother, Royal H. Mildred Morris, Park Valley, UT; 54 Grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
LeGrand was preceded in death by a son, Duane Max and a grandson, Jaymes Paul.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 20 at 12:00 noon at the Park Valley LDS Chapel. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and also on Thursday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at Park Valley Cemetery.
