Lee S Williamson

Lee S. Williamson was born Jan. 21, 1929 in Smithfield, UT to Floyd & Pearl B. Williamson. He lived in Avon & Hyrum, UT. He graduated from South Cache High School. He met & married Afton Ward. They built their home in River Heights where they raised 4 children: Sue, Todd, Chad, & Michael.
Dad served in the U.S. Air Force as a radio operator & was stationed in Ketchikan, Alaska. Dad was a man of many talents. He painted beautiful oil paintings, was a general contractor working on many homes around the valley, & also did a remodel on the Old Faithful Inn at Yellowstone National Park. He also made golf clubs & was an avid golfer. He loved classical music & was a 25 year member of the National Ski Patrol at Beaver Mountain.
He is survived by his 4 children, 6 grandchildren (Michael, Alex, Amber, Jessie, Tanner, & CJ), 3 great-grandchildren (Kandie, Emmi, & Violet), 1 brother Alan (Bobbie), & 2 sisters Edythe (Bille) & Connie (Preston). He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Afton, & 2 brothers Dale & Paul.
Funeral services will be held at Nelson Funeral Home on Sat. May 14 at 12 pm. A viewing will be held prior from 10:30-11:30 am. Interment will follow at Hyrum Cemetery.
