TREMONTON Utah? Lee Warner Hunsaker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, of Tremonton Elwood, Utah, returned to his Heavenly Father on January 20, 2007, at the Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, Utah. He was born November 29, 1924, in Elwood, Utah, the oldest of 6 children of Raymond Warner and Gladys Marie Hill Hunsaker. He grew up on the family farm in Elwood, Utah, and graduated from Bear River High School. He married Arlene Waldron September 6, 1944, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had a great love and devotion for one another. He and his wife owned and operated Lee?s Auto Parts in Tremonton, for 34 years. After their retirement they enjoyed the many friendships they made in Lava Hot Springs, ID, and Quartzsite, AZ. He enjoyed working in his yard, going for rides, sight seeing and taking walks. His family was his greatest source of joy.
He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in both the Elwood and Tremonton 9th Wards. He had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He served in many positions in the LDS Church and faithfully attended the temple. One of the callings he enjoyed most was serving with his wife in the Branch Presidency at the Bear River Valley Care Center for 7 years.
He is survived by his children, Wayne L. Jean Hunsaker, Hyrum; Linda W. Blair Summers, Bothwell; Gary L. Teresa Hunsaker, Elwood; Shirley Charlie Tate, Ogden; Ross W. Tami Hunsaker, Honeyville; 25 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Ray Carlos Evelyn ?Babe?, Ralph S., C. Ben Jenae; and his sister, Doris Glen, deceased Heaton.
He was preceded in death by his wife; son, Brad W.; his parents; and a baby sister, Beth Marie.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Tremonton Utah South Stake Center, 1150 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah, with C. Blake Christensen officiating. Friends may call at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N 100 E, Tremonton, Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday at the stake center from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in the Elwood Town Cemetery.
The family wishes to express thanks to Dr. Schow and his staff, the nurses and staff at the Bear River Valley Hospital, IHC Hospice, and the many friends, neighbors, and family members who have shared their love and support.
