Tremonton-Leah Peterson, 67, of Logan, UT, died Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Sunshine Terrace Care Center. Leah was born May 10, 1939 in San Pedro, CA, the daughter of Letha Wood and Burnis Merrill Peterson. Due to a childhood illness, Leah was cared for at home until she was nineteen years of age. She has since resided in professional care facilities. Leah loved being outside and her favorite color was red. She was a pleasant, happy person. Leah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include her mother of Logan, brothers and sisters; Patsy P. Tremelling, North Ogden, UT; Robert Shirley Peterson, West Valley City, UT; Rex Kay Peterson, Ogden, UT; Bart Leslie M. Peterson, Sandy, UT; Darrell Pam Allen Stenquist, Eugene, OR; Ronald Peggy M. Stenquist, Kuna, ID; Delores Stenquist Joyce, Hailey, ID, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, B. M. Peterson, step-father, Marvin Stenquist and a step-brother, Kenneth Stenquist. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the health caregivers who gave so lovingly throughout Leah?s life. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, October 27, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fielding Cemetery, with Bishop Norman Fukui, officiating.
