LaRue White Guymon passed away October 18, 2007 in Logan, Utah from Alzheimer?s disease. LaRue was born in Lyman, Utah on August 1, 1923 to Jacob and Mary White. She was the fifth child in a family of eight. She has one surviving sister, Leah Chappell of Salt Lake City. LaRue grew up in Lyman and attended Wayne High School. She married Wayne Guymon in Lyman on January 15, 1944. Recently they celebrated sixty-three years of married life. LaRue was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in numerous callings. She was President or counselor in the Relief Society in various wards and stakes for over thirty years. LaRue and her husband were ordinance workers in the Los Angeles Temple for six and one-half years. LaRue was an out-going and fun-loving person. She loved to laugh and made friends wherever she lived. LaRue loved her family and was never happier than when her family came home. She loved playing Skip-Bo with her grandchildren and teaching them to swim in the pool. During their retirement years, Wayne and LaRue enjoyed traveling in their house trailer all over the United States and Canada. LaRue is survived by her husband and five children: Stephan Karen Guymon of Providence; Susan Kenneth Boyd of Kerman, California; Karen Tom Peterson of West Hills, California; Myron Melinda Guymon of Logan; and Myrna Raddatz of Sandy, Utah. She has twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Cemetery, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
