Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Larry Richard Vaughn, 65, passed away, Saturday, March 17, 2007 at his home. Larry was born the son of Eugene and Audrey Virginia Vaughn February 15, 1942 in Muncie, Indiana.
He graduated from New Castle High School in Indiana. He served his country in the Air Force for twenty years where he retired as a Master Sergeant at Hill Air Force Base. He attended Weber State University and went on to become a Field Engineer for AeroJet. He married his beloved Beverly in 1984 and they were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
Larry and Bev spent the last seven years living in Thatcher where they were embraced by their church and their community. Larry enjoyed spending time outdoors, puttering around in his yard and working on his gardens and landscape. He was as loving family man and found happiness with his family and friends.
Larry is survived by so many special people it is impossible to name them all, for any who are not named directly, please know you are loved and are not forgotten. In addition to his wife, Beverly, he is survived by one brother, Steve Vaughn, two sisters and in laws: Barbara Dick Forte, Phyllis Keith Butler, Ann Vaughn. His children: Phillip Myrna Loveless, Michael Sarah Loveless, Gregory Nicole Loveless, Julianne Vaughn and Dirk Vaughn. Special nieces: Danielle, Autumn, Britney, Nichole, Christy; eight grandchildren: Julian, Amanda, Brittney, Cassie, Aaron, Dustin, Craig; nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Thatcher-Penrose 2nd Ward LDS Church, 11475 West 10400 North, Tremonton, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah and also from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment at Valleyview Bothwell Cemetery.
