Lani Kate Corey

Lani Kate Corey, 40, of Logan, Utah, passed away on October 26, 2023. She was born on March 13, 1983, in Ogden, Utah. Lani, also known as Lani Corey, was a dedicated wife and mother with a vibrant and fun-loving spirit. She cherished spending time outdoors, enjoying family barbecues, vacations, and taking leisurely walks on the beach any opportunity she could.
Lani was a graduate of Utah State University and a licensed Attorney. When recently asked what things in her life she was most proud of, she simply replied “the honor of being a mother and the privilege to have served as an Advocate Attorney fighting for young children unable to fight for themselves”.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life for Lani will be held at Nelson Funeral Home November 2, in Logan, UT, from 1:00-3:00 PM. This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends and family to come together, share stories, and remember the beautiful moments they each shared with Lani.
Lani is survived by her husband Frank Corey, her 2 children Avi Wallace and Jacob Brooks Wallace, her parents Jimmy and Charlie Hasenyager, her brother Matt Hasenyager and many other family, relatives and friends who were loved and cherished by Lani.
Proceeded in death by her grandparents Newel and Venice Knight, her Aunt Kristine Knight Josephson, and her grandparents Clarence and Lois Hasenyager.
Lani leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her loved ones. She will forever be remembered for her loving nature, adventurous spirit, and the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
