Lamont Dewey Gardner

Tremonton ? Lamont Dewey Gardner, 80, passed away at his home on July 21, 2003 from congestive heart failure. He was born to Martin Milo and Florence Loveland Gardner on May 19, 1923 in Deweyville, Utah. He married Mildred Claudia Florez on February 28, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona. He later married Elizabeth Duncan on November 2, 1973 in Ely, Nevada. He served in the Army during WWII. Lamont lived in Deweyville, Salt Lake and Tremonton at various times throughout his life. He is survived by his children: Sylvanio Lujan Judy AKA Silver, Ronald Helen Mae, Cindee Sid Miller, Randell Darleen, Renee Don Fleming, Kaye Halterman, Karen Halterman, Joyce Mark Crockette and daughter Marla, John Robyn Hoggan, Leo Jolley, Rosalee Lyle Haslam and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother Stanley Doris Gardner. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred, who passed away on March 23, 1972 and his second wife Elizabeth who passed away on March 2, 2003; two sisters, Eva Talbot and Genivive Carl Chadwick; one brother, Floyd Gardner; his parents, Martin Milo and Florence Loveland Gardner; two daughters, Tonya Ken Kelley and Kristy Street; and one grandson, Ray Lynn Fischer. The viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Deweyville LDS Church located at 10750 North Hwy. 69, Deweyville. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
