Kirk Dale Haws was born 18 October 1952 at Ft. Lee, Virginia while his father, Leo Dale Haws was in the military. His first year was spent traveling around the U.S. at different army posts in the U.S. He graduated from High School at Kodaikanal South India. He completed his B.S. Degree at Utah State University and graduated from Thunderbird School of International Management. He married Cheri Rich while attending Utah State University. Kirk worked for Bobcat International in Singapore for seven years He and Cheri later divorced. Kirk continued to work for Bobcat sales while living in Athens, Greece; Brussels, Belgium and Japan.
He married Irene Chong while living in Athens. He is the father of four children, Christopher Rich Haws, Scott LiLong Haws and twins, Daniel Xian and Rheanne Mei Xin. He married Lynn Marie Schneider in 1999.He received the Bobcat International Man of the Year award in 1996. He worked for the Vermeer Corporation in Pella, Iowa and was named Global Marketing Manager—Cotton for the Case Corporation.
Kirk passed away 2 October 2011 at 58 years of age from cancer in Racine, WI. He is survived by his wife, Lynn, his mother Colleen Munns Haws, his brother, Robert Brent Haws, and sisters LaDawn Haws, Julie H Barker and Sandra H. Ashworth.
