Kimberly Dawn Johnson, 40, of Auburn, WA, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 27, 2004 in Logan, UT. She was born September 12, 1964, in Texas to Milburn and Sharon Tucker. While young she moved with her family to Anchorage, AK. She grew up loving hockey and cheerleading and graduated from Dimond High School in 1983. She loved being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and visited Utah and Temple Square shortly after graduating. She worked in Anchorage a short time with her parents, her older brother Bubba and her younger sister Tabitha in a family business. On New Years Eve of 1984 she met Ron E Johnson of Idaho, who had been working in Alaska. They were sealed for time and all eternity on February 14, 1985, in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was excited to begin raising a family in the gospel. While living in Washington from 1985 to 1989, Kayla and Taner were born. Living in Idaho 1990 to 1994 Hailey and Katie were born. Returning to Washington and giving birth to Tucker and McKinley. With four girls and two boys living in Auburn, WA she raced from soccer field to soccer field, then football, basketball, softball, gymnastics, swimming, diving, volleyball, cheerleading and recitals. She loved youth and high school sports with a passion and coached youth soccer in Auburn. She enjoyed working out, shopping with her girls, crafts, cooking and feeding the missionaries. She accompanied her daughters to girl's camp, serving as a lifeguard at the lake then camp director. She was extremely active in the Auburn, Washington stake and currently served as activities chair in the Lake Holm Ward. She also supported her daughters in the Young Women's program and her son's in Scouting. She has been a substitute seminary teacher at Auburn High School the last three years and enjoyed studying and teaching from the scriptures. She was truly a loving mother in Zion. Kimberly was survived by her husband, Ron Johnson, children: Taner, Hailey, Katie, Tucker and McKinley of Auburn, WA. Also her daughter, Kayla Johnson at Utah State University. Her parents, Milburn and Sharon Tucker of Sun Lakes, AZ. Her brother, Milburn Tucker II of Mesa, AZ and her sister, Tabitha Wright of Broken Bow, OK. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the 3rd/8th Ward LDS Church located at 9590 North 6800 West in Tremonton, Utah. Family and friends may call at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home on Wednesday December 1, 200 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Interment will be at Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. There has been an Benevolent account set up at Washington Mutual Bank for the Johnsons. In case anyone wants to donate, it will be active on Monday afternoon. It is called the Kimberly Johnson Memorial Fund. Anyone wishing to participate only needs tell the teller whom it is for.
