Kent G. Pickett ?Pickett?, 34, passed away on September 6, 2003 from injuries sustained in a 4-wheeler accident in Nephi. He was born on Monday May 12, 1969, the day after Mother?s Day, to Wayne and Linda Roskelley Pickett. Kent was a resident of Smithfield his entire life, growing up surrounded by many friends and family. Pickett found and married the love of his life, Tavia Crozier, on August 15, 1997 and together they welcomed three beautiful daughters into their home. He loved the outdoors, taking his family camping whenever possible. He loved to fish, hunt, ski, snowmobile and to enjoy life with his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Tavia; his daughters: Domynique, Trinity and Trista and step-daughter: Natalia, all of Smithfield; his parents: Wayne and Linda Pickett; two brothers: Brian Andrea and Jed, Smithfield; one sister, Marilyn Chuck Winn, New York; his grandmother, Kaye Roskelley; many aunts, uncles and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Keith Roskelley and his Grandpa and Grandma Pickett, Milton and Phyllis. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 12, 2003 at the Smithfield 4th Ward Chapel, 155 West 400 North. Friends and family may call Thursday evening, September 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield and on Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com . We love and miss our Pickett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kent Pickett family at any Wells Fargo Bank.
