Kenneth Leroy Tuveson, 85 of Smithfield Utah, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023.
Kenneth was born April 18, 1938, at his home in Smithfield to James Peter Tuveson and Ellen Wanner Tuveson.
Kenneth worked as a farmer, and later went to work for Cache Valley Cheese, where he later retired. Kenneth was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings throughout his life, including greeter in several wards and performed building security. Kenneth was known as one of the most faithful home teachers to many families and all enjoyed his visits. One of his greatest joys were all the kids at church and he always had a piece of candy to keep the kids happy.
He loved riding on the back of a motorcycle, raising cattle, and his land.
Surviving is his brother Thomas Tuveson (Ruth) and 10 nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was receded in death by his parents, James and Ellen Tuveson; 2 brothers James Tuveson (Donna), Virgil Tuveson (Hettie), and a sister Bessie Tuveson.
There will be a viewing Monday, June 12th from 6 to 8 PM at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main Street, Smithfield. Services will be held Tuesday June 13th at the Smithfield 28th ward building, 640 N 200 East Smithfield, with a short viewing prior from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
Following funeral services Kenneth will be laid to rest in the Smithfield Utah Cemetery.
