Newton ? Our precious daughter and sister, Kaylee Ann Volkman, 9, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 24, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on February 27, 1993, in Logan, Utah, to Kenneth and Beverly Volkman of Newton. Kaylee was always full of life and lived life to its fullest. She was a ray of sunshine on the bleakest days and could enliven any conversation with the magic of her storytelling. Kaylee had a maturity beyond her years, was a kindred spirit to young and old alike, and generously shared herself with everyone. With her giggles and hugs, she would remind us that life is for loving ? and because she left a part of herself with each of us, we will never be the same. Kaylee is survived by her parents and three brothers, Chase, Trevor and Zachary. She is also survived by grandparents, Gene and Betty Volkman of Gothenberg, Nebraska; Leon and Marion Denton of Smithfield, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2002 in the Newton Chapel, 90 South 100 West, Newton, Utah, with Bishop Kelly Griffin conducting and under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be extended online at
